About

We ship parts.
Then we shipped the software.

WySync is a Pound Pixel LLC brand. It exists because we run an aftermarket storefront ourselves, hit every fitment problem the category has, and could not buy our way out of them at a price that made sense.

01OriginBuilt for our own store first

Everything here started as an internal tool.

The catalog pipeline came first — scraping, normalizing and deduplicating hundreds of manufacturers into one clean set of products, because nobody would sell us that data at a price a growing shop could pay. Then the fitment engine, because our own storefront needed to answer "will this fit my truck" without a human in the loop, on every category we carried.

Both were rebuilt multi-tenant so other shops could run them. That heritage is why the app is opinionated in specific ways: measurement equivalences are baked into code rather than left to configuration, tolerances are treated as envelopes rather than exact values, and a source that stops confirming a fit loses the mapping instead of leaving a stale one behind. Wheels are the hardest fitment in the aftermarket, so we started there — but nothing in the engine assumes them.

02How we workFour commitments

We never hand-edit vendor data

If a supplier's feed says a part fits a 2019 Tacoma, that is what the pipeline carries. Integrity checks report anomalies; they don't silently correct them. Corrections flow back to the source, because a number we invented is a number nobody can audit.

Your catalog is never in a shared table

Every query, index, cache key and webhook handler is scoped to one shop. There is no shared product table and no cross-shop analytics. Your competitor's app instance cannot see your SKUs, and neither can ours.

Support is the engineering team

The person who replies to your ticket can open the file that caused it. That is only sustainable at our size — and while it is, it is the biggest advantage a small vendor has over a big one.

We write down what it actually does

The documentation on this site is generated from the same repository as the app. When behaviour changes, the docs change in the same commit. If a page here is wrong, that is a bug and we'd like to hear about it.

03The two productsOne brand

WySync Fitment

The Shopify app. Nine storefront widgets, a fitment engine, a merchant admin, and an optional curated data add-on for wheels and tires. Any vehicle-specific category. $99 – $999 per month.

WySync Data

The catalog subscription that predates the app. Cleaned wheel and tire product data with MAP and inventory, delivered as a feed into your storefront. $499 – $5,000 per month.

Different products with a deliberate boundary. The app's Fitment Data add-on sells fitment intelligence for a catalog you already have; the data subscription sells the catalog. Buying one never requires the other.

Company

Pound Pixel LLC

Pound Pixel LLC builds and operates software products. WySync is its aftermarket brand; the company also runs a web design practice and ships standalone software outside the automotive space. One team, several products, no outside investors telling us to raise prices.
